The APCRDA is all about the planning agency of the Amaravathi capital city. It was announced on 30 December 2014 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh according to the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority Act, 2014, It was shifted to the Vijayawada, Guntur, Tenali, Mangalagiri Urban Development Authority. The authority has allotted the jurisdictional area of about 8.352.69 sq.km which covers the districts of Guntur and Krishna including 217 sq.km of the Andhra Pradesh capital, amaravati smart city. The CRDA was divided into three categories. Basic Needs, Infrastructure Development and Economic Development.

Amaravati Smart city: CRDA officials on Tuesday has decided and distributed reformed plots in amaravati to farmers who have owned their lands from the Land Pooling system, at Krinayapalem village in Amaravati capital region. As the plots were distributed in both residential and commercial categories for farmers in that village. The programme was organized by the CRDA office in Thullur, CRDA Commissioner Ch.Sreedhar by the AP agriculture Minister P. Pulla Rao with MLA Sravan Kumar have been allocated plots through computer lotter system. The farmers of the Krishnayapalem village has allotted the plots in amaravati of 1369 residential plots and commercial plots of 952 by the Final LPS Layout.

At the time of three months more plot development work which includes the geo positioning are selected up to provide the farmers to start construction work. By the regard of the allotment of plots where the capital region of other villages, they are still in the process of constructing and developing layouts.
The Residential plots of the Krishnayapalem are allotted for multiples of 30 and starting from 120 sq.Yards. And commercial plots are of selected in the multiples of 30 beginning from 30 Sq.Yards.
Krishnayapalem Township is known as the Healty city by the Nowluru Township and Penumaka Township according to the AP CRDA Amaravati Township by the Master plans which were released by AP CRDA.
CRDAs aim is to develop 9 Jewel cities across the capital city area. Each Jewel city will be covered by multiple townships to bring economic development. Every city, CRDA will give lands to third parties otherwise government agencies which belongs to same type business.
